Have you ever been next to awesomeness and didn’t even know it? A few years ago I was really into R/C car racing. It’s a 2 man sport where one guy drives and the other guy “pits” and refuels the car. I usually went by myself and asked around for drivers not in my class to be my “pit guy”. Well, I was asking around one night and saw this dude that looked really cool… so I asked him. He said “sure, if he had time” (which he didn’t). But I found out later that he was this super stud racer with sponsorships and magazine deals (who went on to win the main race that night). I was so embarrassed for even asking. It was like asking Michael Jordan to inflate your basketball, or +Trey Ratcliff to carry your camera bag.
