I consider myself pretty good a Photoshop, but when it comes to the blog and HTML, I’m pretty far behind. So if you occasionally see something like this, you’ll know that I’m learning and testing different things.

COMEDY
May 29th, 2012, posted in 2012, HDR, TexasThis is one of the last shots I took on last Saturday’s Dallas Photowalk. I usually get started around this time, but the walk began at 3:30, it was really hot, and the family and I were getting pretty spent. It was nice to get to hang out with some other photographers and get a little exercise. This is the first HDR that I’ve posted taken with my new D800. Upgrading is fun, but you soon realize that you have to upgrade other stuff too… like RAM.
WHO YOU GONNA CALL?

I had never been to this part of Dallas before and it was really cool. It didn’t hurt that it had just stopped raining and there were low clouds clipping the tops of the buildings.

If you’ve never been, it is just breathtaking.We searched for a spot where there weren’t many tourists, and it really paid off. It was super quiet except for the occasional rumble of thunder off in the distance. I can’t wait to get back and explore the Grand Canyon some more!
